Bulldogs sign Vail and Crisp to try-out deals

The Hamilton Bulldogs have announced that they have signed forwards Brady Vail and Connor Crisp to AHL try-out agreements that will last for the rest of the Bulldogs regular season.

MONTREAL, QUEBEC – Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today the Bulldogs have signed forwards Connor Crisp and Brady Vail to try-out agreements. Both players will join the Bulldogs on the club’s current road trip and are scheduled to practice tomorrow.

Both Vail and Crisp completed their 4th seasons in the OHL (Ontario Hockey League) with early exits in the playoff rounds.

Vail, 20, compiled 83 points (32 goals, 51 assists) in 67 games this season with the Windsor Spitfires. Vail also played 12 games last season with the Dogs after completing his 3rd season in the OHL in similar fashion to this year. Vail was selected in the 4th round (94th overall) by the Canadiens in the 2012 NHL entry draft.

Crisp, 19, recorded 55 points (28 goals, 27 assists) in 67 games with the Sudbury Wolves. Crisp was selected in the 3rd round (71st overall) by the Canadiens in the 2013 NHL entry draft.
